I still love NYC and I love that I grew up immersed in its diversity, but I don’t want to live there after graduation. It’s a little funny, I think, because a lot of people I know have grand plans of ending up there (and honestly so did I), but in the context of my field and my newfound goals, I don’t think it’s quite for me. It’s a weird thing to come to terms to - realizing you don’t want your home to be your home anymore.
